Receiving the Light, Sharing the Light, Being the Light

PASTOR'S CORNER

We call ourselves “The Lighthouse Church” where we seek, serve, and share Him, Jesus Christ, the light of the world.

Our congregation hails from 29 states. Most maintain an affiliation with a church “back home”, and look forward to their time at The Lighthouse for several months each year. We “share” members with other Methodist churches, of course, but also with Lutheran, Episcopal, Presbyterian, UCC, and several other denominations. A third of our regular members reside in the various communities surrounding Boca Grande. They feel the “draw” of this special place and this welcoming Church of faith. We hope you will, as well.

Lighthouse is an active place. Most of us are involved in one or more of the many ministries of this church, in small groups, as lay servants, as office volunteers, as committee members, in our choir, in support of our dynamic youth program, as mission leaders, as Strawberry Festival volunteers…...the list is long and growing. And there’s always room for more…….for you!!

We strive to be a community of faith, open to visitors and all who seek a local church affiliation, year-round or seasonal. Our services are traditional in nature, but during “the season” we also conduct a contemporary service each Sunday, and look forward to the time when we can offer both experiences on a continuous schedule.

If you’d like to know more about who we are, what we do, and our future ministry plans, stop by or call the church office at 941 964-2479, or call me at any time at 941 214-0335.

The joy continues,
